We're going to do everything we possibly can to keep each other healthy. To that end, you may notice some aberrant practices at our wedding and we graciously ask that you follow along with openness and a sense of humor. We will:

  • Arrange all activities outdoors with plenty of space for physical distancing.

  • Provide an overabundance of sanitizer, soap and warm water (and alcohol - we hear it kills the virus!)

  • Provide all guests with a face covering and encourage the use of personal masks.

  • Place tables further apart, seat fewer guests per table, and organize seating by region so we don't mix germs from too many places.

  • Bypass a close-quarter dance floor in favor of a large, open space with fire pits and distance-friendly games so you can chill, chat, and dance your heart out without mingling those pesky germs.

  • Ask that you do not attend if you're not feeling well, have a fever, or have been in close contact with someone confirmed to have COVID-19 the past 14 days - even if you've already traveled to Montana

  • Air hug, ankle bump, and elbow tap, a lot.

As an extra precaution, Don and I will be tested for COVID-19 before the wedding. If you have the means, with our deepest gratitude, we would encourage all of our guests to voluntarily test for the virus prior to traveling. Bonus hugs for all of our confirmed negative party-goers!

Please note that as of 7/15/20, Montana requires face masks to be worn at outdoor gatherings where attendees are not observing at least six feet of physical distance from others. We will have enough masks for everyone and plenty of space so you can keep yo' distance! If you have a personal mask you like, bring it!

We plan to have the wedding as long as regulations allow, understanding that it'll be smaller than planned, spaced out, and heavily sanitized. Any decision to travel in these times is a personal one, and we hope you'll make the decision that's right for you. If there is anything else we can do to help you feel safe and protected throughout the festivities, we'd love to hear it! These are strange times and we couldn't be more grateful for your understanding, friendship, and support!
